What a fantastic time was had at the Holly Lodge Summer Fayre on the 13th July! ☀️ 😁
Everyone had a fantastic time exploring the different stalls and games on offer. We also welcomes our local fire and police services, who allowed visitors to look at the vehicles! And a clear favourite for the children attending was a special guest appearance from Bluey!💙
We are delighted to share that we raised over £450 in total – and we want to thank every person and business that supported us! Thank you!

We would like to give a huge round of applause to our wonderful Sovereign Lodge team members Teresa, Kara and Nicola who recently took part in the South Shields Memory Walk and raised over £200 for the Alzheimer’s Society!👏
Well done ladies – it looks like you had a wonderful day in the sun and we’re incredibly proud to have such generous individuals on our team! 💙

From afternoon tea to garden parties, our homes had a fantastic time hosting their very own jubilee celebrations for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy! We even has some special ‘royal’ visitors – see more of our festivities over on our Facebook page!🇬🇧🎉

Happy Chinese New Year! Staff and residents at Derwent celebrated by tasting some traditional dishes, which were delicious😋🍜

Kingston Court have been running a Christmas Raffle over the festive period to raise funds for our activities fund. Activities staff would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated and bought a ticket, your support is greatly appreciated. Our home manager also treated each member of staff at Kingston Court a raffle ticket as a thank you for all there hard work recently. Hope everyone loves there prizes and thanks again for supporting us it means alot. 💜🎄☃️

“Have your ELF a merry little Christmas..”🎼 It’s been a very exciting time for our residents here at Kingston Court as Santa sent his very best elves to bring some festive fun to the home! 🎄
Our mischievous little elves went all out and had everyone laughing – they even helped with the laundry and guaranteed us all a place on the nice list!😆 🎅

Our staff at Holly Lodge got crafty to dress up in support of Children in need last week, our resident Ray even helped make spotty T Shirts for everyone to wear on the day!😄 🐻 We’re sure you’ll agree they look spot-acular!

Our Kingston Court residents having been trying their hand with the pottery wheel and modeling with clay. We’re looking forward to decorating the pieces they’ve dried – so keep your eyes peeled for the finished results!🤞😆

Everyone at Holly Lodge would like to wish our lovely Sandra Plews our Laundry Assistant a very happy retirement today after 15 years at Holly Lodge, Sandra will be hugely missed around the home! We hope you like your gifts Sandra🎁 👏

Holly Lodge recently had a very lovely visit from Claire Dent from Denty’s Shop in Shildon! Claire has very kindly organised some fundraising for our home and also donated a beautiful large gazebo and a barbeque😍🌭
We are very grateful for the kind donations and our residents will be able to spend more time outside enjoying a tasty barbeque!❤️

Our residents have been getting very competitive at Holly Lodge recently as we held our very own Olympic Games! Everyone really enjoyed taking part in the events😃 🏆 Especially our very proud winners who loved their Olympic medals and torch!🏅 Well done to everyone who took part!😄
