" My Mother was a resident at TOPH for a short time after a lengthy stay in hospital. From the start, the Manager made us all feel very welcome. She visited my Mum in hospital to do an assessment and told us she would be delighted to welcome Mum as a guest at TOPH. From the day she arrived, the care she received was excellent - nursing, support and maintenance who couldn't have done any more to make the room nicer. "
Tim H (Son of Resident)
" My mother has been a resident of The Old Prebendal House for 6 years now. I have been delighted with the care that she has received. All the staff are so pleasant, polite and helpful. They are very understanding of my mother's needs and difficulties. It is always a pleasure to deal with them. My mother is very contented and happy. I have no hesitation in recommending. "
Rosemary D (Daughter of Resident)
" The staff are unfailingly professional, caring and kind. I visit three or four times a year and the staff are always very welcoming. Emails always get a prompt and helpful reply, which is especially important to me. The accommodation is of the highest standard and always spotlessly clean, while the dining room is worthy of a restaurant. "

The Old Prebendal House
Before coming to live at The Old Prebendal House we carryout a thorough pre-assessment visit with residents – to gather information to ensure we provide the best-possible, person-centred care. Person-centred care is continued on admission, and benefits from the involvement of loved ones and each resident. From here we deliver a wide and varied monthly activity programme – ranging from cream teas on the terrace, lace making in the conservatory and weekly shopping trips to the local village and or town. We have regular fund raising events for various local charities and an annual fete amongst many other activities.
