My stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable. The room was large and airy with a beautiful window overlooking the garden. The food was excellent. The staff were very kind.
The care and compassion at this home is second to none and is a credit to the nursing profession. From senior down to ancillary staff, the support shown not only to our mum but to my brother and me showed what a strong dedicated team you all are. My brother and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
When my mum needed full-time care, Sovereign Lodge has the light at the end of an uncertain tunnel. From my first visit, the atmosphere of calm and reassurance was wonderful. Every member of staff treats my mum like family and I am always made so welcome. I have every confidence my mum is being well looked after and I can relax knowing how calm she is.
Very happy with the care that’s provided for my mother. She’s been in the home for 3 years now and I’ve never had any concerns. The staff are warm and welcoming and are a great help if we need anything.
My Grandmother was made welcome on arrival. All staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There’s no timescale on visiting, allowing myself and family members to visit as often and as long as we wish. I have peace of mind to know that my Grandmother is being cared for to a high standard.
I love that Mum is here. As an ex Age UK CEO I understand how to review care and have nothing but praise for the home, in particular, the staff are lovely, helpful, friendly and kind. The food always looks lovely. Rooms and communal areas clean and warm. Mum’s dementia has progressed but feels confident she is in the best possible place, getting the best possible care.
My sister became a resident of Briardene Care Home in January 2019. She needs full-time care because of her medical situation and dementia. I have found she gets wonderful care and is treated with dignity which is important. I have nothing but admiration for the whole staff.
