We welcome residents who like to bake, cook or help themselves whenever they would like. We can also cater for parties and celebrations for residents, and their families and friends.
" My Mam has lived at Briardene for over 8 years. She is very happy. The staff and manager are all lovely, caring and have become valued friends, not only to her but also all the family. She is treated like a queen and loves it! The food is good and you can always ask for something else if you don't like the choices that day. Our activities are well run, and we now have a new gardener - what a difference, rain or sahine it's beautiful. Briardene has given me my Mam back to me as she used to be 20 years ago. Thank you to all! "

" My sister became a resident of Briardene Care Home in January 2019. She needs full-time care because of her medical situation and dementia. I have found she gets wonderful care and is treated with dignity which is important. I have nothing but admiration for the whole staff. (Wonderful). "
Barbara G (Sister of Resident)
" My dad was only in Brierdene for nine weeks where all the care staff and the nursing staff were absolutely fantastic my dad could not of had better care. The nurse and a Care assistant even attended my dad’s funeral which my mam very much appreciated. I will be forever grateful to all the staff who were genuinely upset when my dad died. Can not praise his care enough, many thanks to all the staff. "

We are delighted to introduce Julie Booth as Home Manager at Briardene. Having worked in care for 17-years, Julie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the care sector. We have been particularly impressed by Julie’s passion and dedication to what person-centred care should be and it’s wonderful to see just how she has developed to work her way up from Care Assistant to Home Manager throughout her career. We are all excited to welcome her to the Mariposa family and can’t wait to see what changes she will bring to the home.
