Wow, what a month June was – jam-packed with celebrations which our residents and teams thoroughly enjoyed! We kickstarted the month by joining the whole country for her majesty’s Platinum Jubilee – from cakes to costumes, we danced till we dropped to enjoy what was truly a once in a lifetime event. We then continued the colourful festivities by replacing the union jacks with rainbows as we boasted our boldest colours to support Pride month!
As always, our amazing staff went above and beyond to ensure all our celebrations were the best they could be for our residents and it’s safe to say we didn’t want to the month to end!
Roll on summer, and long may the good times last!

Robert Thorpe celebrated his 90th birthday on June 4th, Bob had an amazing day spent with family.
Rosa Rigby turned 96 on June 12th, Rosa loved reading all her cards from loved ones.
Winnie Welsh celebrated her 89th birthday on June 15th, Winnie received some lovely gifts.
Happy 87th Birthday to Elizabeth Hodgson who turned 87 on June 21st, Betty had a lovely day spent with family.
Audrey Kennedy turned 87 on June 27th, Audrey loved the flowers and cards she received.
We have been packed with activities throughout June, including Jubilee Weekend and PRIDE.
