It’s 2022 and the start of a new year means a short spell of dark nights and colder weather so we have lots of indoor fun and activities to come at Old Prebendal House!
We’ve also had a number of furry friends visit the home this month, helping keep us cosy and distracting from the troublesome weather outside! And perfect for the sweet-toothed among you, baking has been a common theme after Christmas – with International Popcorn Day taking centre stand!
With warmer weather on the horizon we have a year filled with sunshine and smiles planned – we wish you a great new year and hope the next 12-months brings everything you could wish for!
Our residents recently showed off their baking skills by making a timeless classic – rice crispy cakes! These went down a treat – paired perfectly with a cup of tea!
On 19th January our residents celebrated International Popcorn Day – with a movie afternoon and lots of tasty treats! Which do you prefer – salty or sweet?
Nikki joins us as our new Receptionist this month. She has previously worked with the police and is no stranger to difficult conversations!
She is always willing to help and lend an ear. Without a doubt a very welcome addition to the OPH family!
