Enhancing Elderly Care in Carlisle: New Facilities Unveiled at Kingston Court Care Home

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the extensive renovation project at Kingston Court Care Home in Carlisle. Finished in late May 2024, Kingston Court now boasts state-of-the-art elderly and dementia care facilities, including the new Library Café and Market Hall. 

The Library Cafe & Market Hall

Inspired by local attractions, the Library Café offers a cozy and inviting space where residents can unwind with a good book, enjoy book-themed décor, comfortable seating, and a coffee machine. The Market Hall, modeled on the nearby Carlisle Market Hall, provides a nostalgic experience with a variety of traditional stalls and favorite items for residents to explore and purchase.

These thoughtfully designed spaces mirror familiar places and activities, offering comfort and familiarity to elderly residents and those living with dementia, fostering engagement and social interaction within a safe and nurturing community.

New Bedrooms & Interior Upgrades

In addition to these exciting new spaces, the renovation project has introduced four new bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, increasing the care home’s capacity for elderly and specialist dementia care in the Carlisle area.

Existing bedrooms have also been upgraded with fresh, modern décor to better suit contemporary tastes. The lounge areas and dining rooms have been revamped to create more modern, luxurious, and homely inviting spaces for residents to enjoy.
