April 2021: Springtime at Derwent

Derwent Newsletter: April Edition

How amazing it is to see family members back in Derwent! Although visits are restricted to visitor per resident for now, it really does make such a difference to see you all start to come back into our home. As further lockdown restrictions are eased over the next couple of weeks we are also hoping to see the hairdresser start to come back from April 12th – which will certainly please our female residents!

We have some exciting renovations happening within the home at the minute as we continue revamping our bedrooms. Slowly but surely all bedrooms will be getting a fresh, unique look with new wallpaper and bedspreads – we hope you all like them.

We are continuing to have lots of interactions with resident’s families with our online presence and our continued Facetime and Zoom chats. We would like to say a big thank you to all our resident’s families for your continued understanding and your unwavering support throughout all this.
