January 2021: New Year at Holly Lodge

On behalf of everyone at Holly Lodge, we would like to give a huge round of applause to Sandra Plews who celebrates her 15 years employment at Holly Lodge this month!

Sandra started with us at Holly Lodge just 6 months after the home opened, she started as a care assistant and also doing a few hours a week in the laundry, as the home got busier Sandra did more hours in the laundry until she became a full time laundry assistant.

Sandra does a fantastic job keeping all the residents clothes in excellent condition using her brilliant seamstress skills to carry out any repairs and alterations needed. Sandra’s role is very important to the care home and she does it very well keeping the laundry washed, ironed and repaired to a very high standard. Thank you Sandra for all your hard work!
