We would like to wish all our residents’ family and friends best wishes for 2021! All our staff worked incredibly hard over the Christmas period, going above and beyond to ensure our residents has a festive Christmas Day and enjoyed celebrating the New Year.
We understand that it is very difficult at the moment, as lockdown has meant we have had to unfortunately stop visits. However, we’re staying positive and hope that with the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine for both residents and staff we will be able to get back to some normality soon and welcome you through our doors!
Our Lifestyle Support Kim is already working towards our next fund raising event. If you have any any unwanted gifts, bottles or sweet treats they would be gratefully appreciated as donations to our upcoming Valentines raffle.
All funds raised will be donated to the Holly Lodge Residents Fund to help with future entertainment, arts and crafts and activities for our residents to take part in.
On behalf of everyone at Holly Lodge, we would like to give a huge round of applause to Sandra Plews who celebrates her 15 years employment at Holly Lodge this month!
Sandra started with us at Holly Lodge just 6 months after the home opened, she started as a care assistant and also doing a few hours a week in the laundry, as the home got busier Sandra did more hours in the laundry until she became a full time laundry assistant.
Sandra does a fantastic job keeping all the residents clothes in excellent condition using her brilliant seamstress skills to carry out any repairs and alterations needed. Sandra’s role is very important to the care home and she does it very well keeping the laundry washed, ironed and repaired to a very high standard. Thank you Sandra for all your hard work!
We would like to wish all our residents who celebrate their birthday in January special wishes for their special day!
