St Lukes is located in the village of Calverley, a pleasant residential area a few miles from the conurbation of Leeds and Bradford.
We are a 28 bedded nursing home all on the ground level offering a home from home experience. With friendly welcoming and caring staff. We appreciate our residents have individual needs and preferences and that a move into nursing care is a big step. The staff at St Lukes will support you and your loved ones to make it a seamless transition into our care. Our team are trained to respect privacy, to promote and enable independence in daily living, wherever possible, and provide the assistance you need in a caring compassionate and understanding manner.

Facilities for the daily living are essential to our residents well being, therefore we have created a spacious lounge and dining area and a light and airy conservatory where our residents can feel relaxed and enjoy visit’s from friends and family. Our home has a regular program of events and activities designed to cater for a broad range of interests. We extend a warm welcome to the friends and relatives that wish to participate in the social life at St Lukes. We have a mature enclosed garden with a flowing stream and a pond where you can enjoy afternoon tea with you loved ones. Additionally, we typically extend a welcome to the local community to join us at our weekly coffee morning.
Residents are welcome to dine in a location of there choice. Our newly refurbished bright and airy dining area is a friendly social place to meet and eat. Our menus are planned with our resident input and take into account the dietary and nutritional requirements of individuals. Menu are rotated on a regular basis and are designed to provide variety, using fresh ingredients and seasonal produce whenever possible. All food is cooked on site and meals of choice can be prepared by our chef.
