We’re Mariposa Care Group, a residential and nursing care service and we provide a range of care and support services for residents. Everyone who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. And, by joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values and attitudes that match our own! We are seeking to recruit a qualified Registered Nurse with a valid PIN, knowledge of national standards and the NMC code of practice. A background in person-centred care planning and the delivery of a high standard of care in a nursing home setting would be advantageous.
We are always happy to work with you to develop you further to excel in your role too, and that’s why we have brilliant training and development opportunities for our team of wonderful Nurses.
We value kindness and respect above all and feel these are an integral part of what drives you to work with those that require our care.
You will find the duties can be varied, and no two days will be the same as all our residents are individuals and they deserve to be treated as such. Main duties will be to supervise, motivate and lead all care staff / Clinical Support Assistants and actively assist in all aspects of each resident’s care.
As the Nurse in Charge, we would expect you to practice confident clinical judgements and to establish individual care for each resident by the thorough assessment of needs and planning of care. This would include enabling the participation of the resident and relative or their representative to ensure care is personalised and evaluated on a regular basis. You will ensure the care team maintain accurate records of resident care.
Liaising with the wider multi-disciplinary teams who also play an integral part in ensuring a high standard of care to our residents is an important responsibility for this role.
