Nursing care at St Luke’s
St Luke’s has a warm and welcoming environment with a genuine family atmosphere. As a smaller care home, it can help residents and staff to build close relationships as all of our residents are treated as individuals and are known personally by the team. The home offers a range of communal activities as well as quieter individual activities, depending on the preference of the residents.
Our Garden Room Conservatory is a fantastic feature that is bright, airy and designed around resident wellbeing and happiness. It is the perfect space for socialising, relaxing, spending time with visitors or just enjoying views of the garden. The natural light and calm surroundings that it offers can create a relaxing atmosphere within the home.
At St Lukes, there is also an ongoing development of the interior and exterior spaces to improve resident experience as much as possible.
All of the nursing care on offer is guided by the CQC Single Assessment Framework and we use Person Centred Software for our care planning, as well as Camascope for medication needs and Pronett for estate management. These systems are in place to help improve communication, monitoring and consistency of care, delivering a level of efficiency that allows staff to spend more meaningful time with the residents. St Luke’s is committed to helping staff continue developing within their careers and so we have ongoing staff training and certifications on offer.

Home Manager, Kelly Hopkinson, leads a dedicated and collaborative specialist care team at St Luke’s – who all work closely together to maintain consistent standards of care throughout the home. Whilst the process of ongoing training ensures that they stay up to date with all the latest knowledge and certifications.
